AINDEX

AINDEX is the Spanish Association of Producers of Industrial Minerals. It was founded in 1977 as a non-profit organization.

Association members are Spanish companies and entities (individual or groups) whose purposes are the operation and / or marketing of non-metallic and non-energy rocks and minerals (industrial minerals), or related or connected activities.

Products:

Red and white clays, bentonite, attapulgite, sepiolite, silica and feldspathic industrial sands, limestone (GCC), kaolin,  celestine, dolomite, dunite, feldspar, fluorite, sodium sulphate (glauberite – thenardite), leonardite, Macael white marble, mica, magnesite, monazite, ochre, salt, peat, potash, wollastonite and gypsum.

Some of its aims and objectives are “Representation of the industry in front of all authorities and all bodies, both public and private, and defense of its lawful rights and defense of the particular interests of members”.

General Assembly and Board represent AINDEX. Board consists of President, Vice-President, Treasurer and Secretary.

Under the umbrella of AINDEX there are several sub-associations which look after the specific needs of the relevant geographical areas: ARINDEX-CLM Association of Industrial Mineral producers of Castilla La Mancha and ARINDEX-CAM Association of Industrial Mineral producers of Madrid..
